The official Google Play listing
The real Android app is listed on Google Play with the package name com.bandainamcoent.op_restaurant. The listing names Bandai Namco Entertainment as the publisher. You can see the package name in the address of the store page.
Bandai Namco's launch announcement explicitly includes Google Play among the launch platforms. The official US game page links to Google Play as well. Any Android app from a different publisher is not the official game.
Wishlist versus playable
When we checked, the Google Play page showed a wishlist action. Wishlisting lets you follow the game and be notified, but it does not let you play. It also does not prove that the game will be available in every region on launch day.
Pocket Gamer's gameplay report from September 16, 2026 describes Android and iOS releases as upcoming. That matches a pre-release listing rather than a worldwide launch. Check the page again around October 23.
The listing showed an update date of October 9, 2026. That is store metadata, not a gameplay patch or a release. It does not mean the game had launched.
Release date on Android
Bandai Namco announced October 23, 2026 for all platforms, including Google Play. The Google Play listing did not show a confirmed date for every region. Your own store may show more detail once launch approaches.
Stores can display dates differently by region. The App Store region we checked, for example, showed October 24. Always rely on the listing in your own store.
Device compatibility
A minimum Android version had not been confirmed on the Google Play page we checked. Required memory and download size were not confirmed either. We do not guess these values.
Google Play shows whether your device is compatible when you open the listing on it. That check is the most reliable way to know before launch. If your device is not listed as compatible, the store will not let you install the game.
No Android performance benchmark has been published. We found no device-by-device testing. Tested notes will be added after release.
Why you should avoid APK sites
We found no official standalone APK for the game. APK mirror sites are not official sources, even if they show the same name and artwork. Installing from them risks malware and problems with your device.
Emulator recommendations and repackaged versions are not official ways to play either. They also do not prove that the game works on your device. Install only through Google Play.
If someone sends you a download link for the game, compare it with the Google Play address that contains com.bandainamcoent.op_restaurant. Bandai Namco's official game page links to the same listing. Anything that bypasses Google Play is outside the official distribution channels named in the launch announcement.
Price and payment model
The Google Play page we checked did not give a confirmed price for every region. One App Store region listed the iOS version at USD 12.99, but that does not tell us the Android price. Check your own Google Play listing.
No source establishes a free-to-play model. We found no confirmed details about in-app purchases. The listing in your region is the authority on price.
Saves and other platforms
No shared save system between Android and other versions has been confirmed. Progress on Android is not confirmed to move to iOS, PC or Nintendo versions. Start your restaurant on the device you will keep using.
The game is also announced for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam and iOS. Steam and Nintendo list it as single-player. No mobile multiplayer has been announced.
What you play on Android
The Android version is the same restaurant management simulation as on other platforms. Developed by Kairosoft and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, it puts you aboard Baratie Number Two with the Straw Hat Crew. You start with a modest ship and grow it into a renowned floating restaurant.
You gather ingredients, cook with Sanji, combine dishes into set menus and arrange more than 200 furniture items. More than 400 characters visit as customers and staff. Our game guide explains how these systems connect.
Android checklist
Use this checklist before launch day. Each item can be checked on the official listing. None relies on unverified numbers.
- The package name is com.bandainamcoent.op_restaurant.
- The publisher is Bandai Namco Entertainment.
- Google Play shows your device as compatible.
- The price and date in your region look right.
- You install only from Google Play, not an APK site.
How Android fits the launch
Android has been part of the plan since the reveal. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe's announcement on June 9, 2026 listed it among the five launch platforms. Toei Animation's announcement on July 3, 2026 repeated the mobile launch for October 23.
On September 15, 2026, Bandai Namco's official gameplay guide closed by confirming availability on Nintendo Switch 2, Switch, PC, iOS and Android. The official gameplay videos released the same day also mention the platform lineup. No later announcement has removed or delayed the mobile versions.
Who makes the game
ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet is developed by Kairosoft, the studio behind many pixel art management games, and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Bandai Namco says its more than 400 characters appear in a lively pixel art style for the first time. The Android version shares that style with every other platform.
Knowing the publisher helps you spot the real listing. The official Google Play page names Bandai Namco Entertainment, not Kairosoft, as the publisher. That is expected, because Bandai Namco publishes the game on every platform.
Android FAQ
Is ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet free on Android? No source confirms a free-to-play model, and the Android price was not confirmed for every region. Check the Google Play listing on your device for the price that applies to you.
Can I play offline? Offline play has not been confirmed in any official source we checked. We will update this answer once the released game can be tested.
Will my Android progress carry over to iPhone? No shared save system between mobile versions or any other platforms has been confirmed. Treat your Android save as tied to the Android version.
